Those are actually 2 different model tvs -
BestBuy - Model: 55S405
Costco - Model #55S403

Interestingly their specs are identical -

A review even states that they are pretty much identical -

But it should still be noted that they are technically 2 different models

I have the 49" version of this TV, purchased from Costco. I think it could serve just fine as a primary TV, for me it's a cheap secondary TV for the kids. Screen uniformity isn't perfect if you view a static black/white/gray image, but once you're actually watching something it's not noticeable. The Roku interface is great and has some really nice features. If you use an antenna to pull in channels and add a 16GB+ USB drive to the port on the side you can pause live TV for up to 90 minutes. Far from a full blown DVR but a really nice feature for cord cutters.

This is the regular price of this TV. It was $399 on special 3-4 weeks ago. Note that Costco gets unique model numbers to inhibit price matching. There is a $399 55" TCL Roku TV at Walmart, but no HDR.

I bought the display/return at Costco 3 weeks ago for $299, look behind the main display for great deals. A pretty decent TV, love the Roku interface.

Many times at my Costco, there is another TV behind the running display at a discounted price. These may be old displays and/or returns.

I was referring to the 55UP120 model, which is what all the stores by me have in stock. Of course, not sure HDR matters with content, and at this price point. Just concerned this is a less expensive model for them to sell vs. The S Series.
