Guys take it easy... the amino shortage is in the past, no one will have any issues finding these
Is that why most or all of the first wave of BotW amiibo are selling for above msrp on Amazon. Sure they're widely available if you want to pick it up from a 3rd party seller for a minimum of 5 dollars more each. Otherwise you have to hunt around your local retail stores to piece together a set. Amiibo is most b&m Walmart and Target I've been to lately is a bunch of bare shelves or animal crossing.

I'm saying it's nothing like it was with let's say Gold Mario where people were paying $50-$100 on ebay

Yeah that's true... And now you can buy the gold Mario in GameStop when it was supposed to be a Walmart exclusive. But it did take about a year for that to happen. I guess if you want them right away and not a year or so down the road when you're done playing Zelda and on to Mario Odyssey, this is a good PSA

Not to mention the anniversary ones like the OoT Link, Majoras Mask Link, 8 bit Link, etc. that are literally impossible to find unless you're willing to shell out like $40. At least they restocked the BotW ones recently and I was able to grab the guardian and Zelda amiibo.

With a popular game like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Amiibos made for this game are highly desired, especially ones that do provide items exclusive to the Amiibos that people really want (i.e. Twilight Princess Link providing Epona and Majora's Mask Link providing the complete Fierce Deity Link outfit and sword). Although restocks are now known to happen and prices are not skyrocketing like they have done in the past in eBay, people still have to wait a while for the restocks. Twilight Princess Link, Skyward Sword Link, and Majora's Mask Link all came out on June 23 and are still sold out. So waiting at least 2 months just to get these Amiibo in-game exclusives would definitely count as being an issue in finding these Amiibos.
