no
factory seconds, just means some marks or blemishes from polishing. never used afaik. most of the, you'd have to look carefully to find blemishes

Negative. Last deal I bought a 6qt saute pan and a 12" skillet. The skillet had two pressure marks in it maybe from a machine calibrated improperly. Can barely tell by looking at it, but it was essentially 50% off a $300 skillet with nothing that will ever harm the performance. Just a minor blemish.

I can't find anything wrong with the saute pan. This is, imo, the best deal on american made pans backed by a union workforce available.
