Stream freely this Summer! Now through August 18th, 5/8, we're offering 1 month FREE of CBS All Access. Just use promo code SummerSale to catch up on the latest FULL season of new shows and returning hits! Plus, subscribers can enjoy live TV, CBS All Access Originals like The Good Fight, movies and so much more.

Including local TV, I just tried it and it worked for live locals. Just in time for FOOTBALL! My Directv Now hasn't fired up the local channel in Seattle market yet so this was just in time for aug25th preseason.

credit to cordcuttersnews. Not affiliated with them but I should be, they have all the latest OTT streaming news. http://cordcuttersnews.com/cbs-gi...time-deal/

A week ?

Hey, that's long enough to watch Cody kill everyone on Big Brother.

try reading the title, A MONTH free, I said it's a week normally so this is pretty hot if you need it.

I'm pleased to see that CBS All Access now offers annual plans: Pay for 10 months and get 2 for free (approx. 16% discount). I'd be more likely to subscribe to a 6-month plan though.

too much of a tightwad to pay for this CBS when Directv Now has already inked a deal. I can always watch local news online but it's always nice to have an app for it. I had error signing into CBS sports but that may just be a minor delay with new account.
Trying it out on my Chromebook acer R11, FIRE HD8 and Nexus 7 tablet. Chromecasting works great and I can get some comic relief from Colbert again. There are a maybe a dozen decent VOD movies to watch so that's sorta slick.

Waiting and hoping they run this deal again in September so can test drive a few episodes of new Star Trek series to see if long term subscription is worth it.

Thank you! I was missing Colbert so bad I almost signed up for the regular trial last night, great timing!

I really can't believe a broadcast station will charge you to stream--bad form IMO. Will enjoy it while I can.

I think of it this way: pay for access to their VOD (video on demand) library and get the live stream for free.

I expect CBS football in time for regular season football. I was concerned about missing channels on DIrectv now until I read that using the apps will work. https://www.streamingobserver.com...ve-stream/

Fans in select areas will have access to live local channels, such as FOX and NBC, to stream NFL games live. Buthere's the good news. Even if you don't live in one of the local markets where FOX and NBC are available, you can still watch NFL games airing on those local channels by using your DIRECTV NOW account login to access the FOX Sports Go and NBC Sports apps.
* edit, learned the hard way, NFL is all Nazi about pre season games. My local Seahawk network was BLACKED OUT for and AWAY GAME!! %$*&%$#%^UUK NFL NAZIS. I even tried the Foxsports app and it allowed my credentials but no game. Awful app to begin with but I think regular season might still work as they are Fox and not local Fox Q13.com. I have until next Friday to figure it out.

forgot to cancel my 1 month free trial. So I was charged 5.99 yesterday. I went into my account to cancel the subscription. Got a pop-up that said..."Don't cancel, get 1 month free." I can live with that. Guess I can watch Star Trek until Nov 18th

cool beans. I've been wondering about mine. I've been meaning to cancel after I get charged another month. Most of the Seahawk games are on CBS in Oct.

I need to look into this, if I missed a CC alert. I don't mind since it's like a two for one month price.
