Learn from my mistake and get this one instead of the other bosch table with the cabinet. the metal & wood are not flush on the other table. Causes issues depending on the cut you are making.

This can often be bough cheaper, but it's pretty hard to beat for convenience if you have a compatible router (or are willing to make a custom plate).

I never see these go on sale. :/ The bosch tables are compatible with just about any router. I use a DeWalt router with mine.

They usually don't go on sale per se, but they qualify whenever ebay has their 20% off home&garden deals. I think it used to be even like $159 base price too, so you can get it for under $130 if stars align.

Wondering why I got a notification on this... Then it hit me... Duh "router"

So what's the speed and range like on this model? Tri-band?
Usually 8000-24000 rpm, depends on your router. Wink

This is just a nice table to mount your router on. You know, for safety and convenience and stuff. I'll try it on my Linksys and let you know how it goes Stick Out Tongue

Dude, don't even. I put my linksys router on top and it did nothing for it.

Dude, the router mounts below. Maybe that's the issue.

What makes this one better than the cheaper alternatives like the craftsman or skill benches

I have had both versions of the Bosch. I'm going to guess on this one as I don't know anything about the others,.... larger table. This is larger than the mdf base Bosch one as well.

They're ok...the fence is good but it's too short by default for something like the Jessem clear stock guides but you can make them work by drilling a hole. And the knobs for the fence pieces piss me off if you have to remove them. I'd probably look for a 79 cart, then buy a mdf top and fence kit from peach tree, mlcf , woodcraft, rockler etc one of those places. But for just 'get er done' this works.

If your router allows you can adjust height from the top of this one (both Bosch versions) as well. aluminum top...I'm still in the air on that gotta really keep it clean and waxed things just don't slide as smooth but you don't have ridges from the mdf finished edge strips too and it doesn't really wear.

On a side note, if you have a delta 36-725 and drill some holes in this top it's a perfect fit between the rails for a table mounted router. I'd imagine for the ridgid maybe too. And move the switch too, I have the delta that's what I used it for instead of futzing around trying to make something, like a < 30 minute job and done.
