Please be aware, this specific model only has ONE hdmi. I felt pretty salty because I bought the two pack last time this came around for $430.

Yes, the specs are fantastic if they're not big on gaming. There are 33% more pixels than a regular 1920x1080.

Only thing to note is that they would need an AMD computer to make use of the FreeSync.

To give a perspective, a "hardcore" gaming and productivity/creator monitor would have these kind of stats:

3840x2160 resolution
144hz refresh rate
1-5ms response
FreeSync or G-Sync
IPS panel (or OLED if they can fix the burn in)
34-38 inch ultrawide
Curved monitor
+ whatever sRGB, Adobe, ____ color gamut that's appropriate for creators.

A monitor with these specs does not exist, unfortunately. But we're getting close!

Make this a three pack for three 34" 1440's and I'm in.
3 pack would be great for a cheap racing rig.

I've been looking for a dual gaming slash YouTube recording setup for my boys bedroom. This seems a good price and spec? He's not a hardcore gamer or anything

would be so sick if i had the room for these. as it stands right now, i am taking up the full length of my desk with (3) of those LG 24" IPS ones from that $109 Costco sale right now

for those who were following that thread - they are superior to what appears to be identical ones at Best Buy. the ones at best buy have (1) VGA and (2) HDMI. the Costco ones have (1) VGA, (1) DVI, and (1) HDMI. that's besides the point, the picture clarity is much more crisp and the pixel spacing is not detectable unlike the ones from Best Buy.

attached is a pic of the one from Best Buy. i intentionally took a close up photo to show the pixel spacing differences which could be seen from my desk chair (not from a photo taking from the chair though, hence the close up) light blue and orange showed significant pixel spacing. LG said it was defective. i said all (3) monitors were defective from Best Buy? they said yep and wanted me to mail them in for a depot repair. haha yeah right. ended up returning them and got the ones from Costco

man i wish i had the desk room for 3 of these 29'ers

Thanks OP! Smilie Purchased to replace the 23" monitors my husband and I each have. After 5+ years, I'd say it's about time.
