These TV's are beautiful I have to tell you. But if it is not new, not sure I would take the risk. I've had 3 Hisense in the last 5 years and I've used the warranty on 2 out of 3 BOTH WITHIN THE FIRST 3 MO's of owning them. Not sure I would take a risk on a refurb with these particular guys. Because if you have to use the warranty service - it is not very good.

Does it come with Hisense's regular 2-year warranty & an extra 2-years if registered within 3-months?

Beware refurbs. You're inheriting someone else's problem.

I'm hating Walmart.... got a 65 Vizio for store pickup and they conveniently lost the awesome deal in shipping. Was one stop away and then went completely out of the way 2 states away. Now they are just toying with me

That sucks, I wonder if I would'be able to purchase a Costco SquareTrade extended warranty for a refurbished TV. Otherwise what would'be the point of buying this TV when it could easily fail me after 3-months & I wouldn't be able to do a damn thing about it. Screw that noise!

Get the Walmart warranty.... it was good when I needed it. If you fine print the Costco square trade, it will mention how the item must be 'New' and from an authorized Costco or retailer.
