Sears [sears.com]has the Craftsman 2-Beam Self Leveling Laser $39.99 with free store pickup. It is a Hot Buy, so additional coupons may not apply. However, you may have surprise points to lower the price.

This is the same deal that went FPrecently, so why not give rep to PDAtoZ for posting the original deal.

Includes:
Precision Leveling Base
Laser Enhancing Glasses
Protective Carry Case

Good laser level. Works great for stuff around the house. I would recommend getting a tripod to go along with it.

Have this from a previous deal. Tripod is pretty much mandatory. Excellent for hanging things. Not so awesome for outdoor visibility in full sun.

Probably a really dumb question but do laser levels, if used with the tripod, account for uneven floors? I live in a really old building and due to the age of the building, the floors (and ceilings are slightly bowed away from the walls-- it's impossible to tell unless you leave like, a ball on the floor and you see it start rolling to the center (hope this place doesn't collapse).

If I were to use this on a tripod to hang a picture, would the set up give me a straight line accounting for my bowed floors?

Yep, this self levels (within a reasonable amount). If you get more than about 10 degrees off level on your mounting surface it beeps at you

Cool thanks.

Leveler isn't available anywhere... says it should arrive by Sept 13, hope it doesn't take that long.
