This is a powerful app with very few limits, but it asks for a lot of your commitment in return. It's a fair trade that I continue to make as the years roll by with Tasker piloting more and more aspects of my tech life well beyond phones. Seminal work by this developer. Highly recommended at this and any price.

Same. I bought it directly from the site originally so am contemplating repurchasing it at this price through Play store so I can update it through the play store.

Still rocking Tasker on my original license. You'll need to remember the original email you used, and find the license key though.

Different developers but agreed.

I have mine to turn sound on, turn wifi on when I arrive home. I have it set to disable wifi when I leave home. I have it set to enable vibrate mode when I'm at work, or have a meeting/appointment scheduled in my calendar.

I have different media volumes enabled depending whether I'm connected to bluetooth headphones vs bluetooth speakers.

When it connects to my car, it would automatically start playing Spotify, load up my navigation, then check traffic.

As the other person above stated, Tasker integrates well with the "Auto" suite apps by joaomgcd. For example, I had a profile setup where I could say "cast Friends on Netflix" to my phone, and it'll start loading the show "Friends" on Netflix, then cast it to my TV's Chromecast. Required an extra app or 2, and some setup time, but pretty nifty.

Plenty of ways to use Tasker, you just gotta get creative and see what is out there too.

Paid full price ($4 or $5?) for it when I bought it. Worth every penny. Great deal!

Anyone know if I bought this like five years ago is the original license still good ? Moved to iOS and will be switching back soon so wondering if I should repurchase now or if my original license is perpetual. Thanks.

Learning curve is steep, but the payoff is worth it. Especially when used in conjunction with the rest of this developer's suite of apps. Autolocation, Autonotification, etc.
