This is V1, not V2 as claimed in the title. The old style (V1) uses spring pins in the GPS mount that over time lose contact with the unit. As a result the dash cam loses power and stops working. The new model (V2) has spring beam contacts in the GPS unit and slightly different contact pads on the dash cam. Looking at the product photos it definitely looks like old style version. This makes this a no deal for me. I keep waiting for V2 to drop in price.

It should be noted that this SD does not include the GPS mount. The mounts that are included are a solid piece of plastic that is non-powered. The power connection is on the side of the camera.

If you prefer a non-GPS version, the distinction between V1 and V2 is moot.

Not true about difference being moot. I had to return my v1 during the return window due to the video coming out blurry on the left side of the lens. Apparently this was a manufacturing issue with the v1 that was fixed with v2...search the dash cam forums for more info.

Title says V2, part number says V2, this is V2. Do you really think they're going to take new pictures?

Read in OP: GPS Logger: Support(Optional) I don't see one in any of the pictures, either.

It's optional because you don't have to use the module, and you can turn it off if you do use it. It's featured in photo #7, attached to the camera.

Never ordered before but reviews from ConsumerAffairs aren't good and TrustPilot mixed reviews. Seems like the customer service/shipping are the key problems
