Works very well on at&t for me. It is missing one of the LTE bands that at&t uses, but there is plenty of service on the other bands. It is nice to not have the at&t bloatware, AND the carrier block on tethering with an unlimited data plan does not apply to the US996.

Good price for those in need today. Personally Im waiting until they hit the mid $200's around BF/C-mas. I still TU this.

Better advice is ... review each phone for usability (each person will know whats features etc are more important to them) and specific problems or issues... even brands that are known to have less issues (like samsung or motorola for example) have specific phones that have issues. Stereotyping doesnt work for phones as well... :-)

How is this not a hot deal compared to the other one considering that this is $0 tax?

This is better than any carrier specific V20 since it supports nearly all bands from north America.

From the website:

LTE: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 20, 25 Bands

Is anything important from AT&T missing?

The reviews on the B&H website show people had no issues using with Verizon.
