Firs review says:
"Has both metric and imperial measurements"

Also from the Q&A:
Question:
I want to make sure the product is marked in both inch (0.001" increments) and metric measurements. Can you confirm?
Answer:
The one I received has both.

Hmmm, guess I could always return it if it doesn't have Imperial markings.

Checked the Mitutoyo catalog to confirm. The 530-104 does in fact have both Metric and Inch scales. Inch is in 1/128 graduation.

Are these real or fake Chinese knock-off Mitutoyos?

Verniers are still alive? I can see dials holding their ground for those who haven't moved to digital, but verniers surprise me.

Do you think Amazon, $460B company is dumb enough to sell counterfeit products?

These are extremely well made , but overall, in this day and age, it's just not worth the time

Because you can get a pretty decent digital for ~$70.. And it just speeds everything up 100 fold.

Imagine making 100 measurements, you will already have saved more than an hour of labor, squinting at the little tick marks on this caliper..

ESPECIALLY if you're blind as bat nearsighted like I am.. hahahahaha

Seriously considering these. They look nice. I have a cheap digital set from Amazon, but the battery is dead every time I go to use them.

Probably not intentionally, but that could depend on their supply chain. The point is that fake Mitutoyos are out there so if the price seems too good to be true, it could either be an exceptional bargain or the product may not be what you think it is.

I don't even buy memory cards from amazon considering the reports of how stock gets mixed together with all those third party sellers.
