MyWit on ebay has the

Galaxy S7 Edge T-Mobile [ebay.com] (silver) for $280 after 'PSCHOOL20' coupon code.

Galaxy S7 T-mobile [ebay.com] (black and gold) for $230 after 'PSCHOOL20' coupon code.

These are claimed to be 'manufacturer refurbished' so they should be in excellent shape. No warranty though. This is the best deal I've seen on an S7 in a while.

Can the pschool20 coupon be used multiple times or is it a one time use coupon?

Also, can these be unlocked easily for use on sprint?

The PSCHOOL20 coupon can be used up to twice per account.

Not sure about sprint, though I am leaning towards no since Sprint is CDMA and Tmobile is GSM.

The main difference is that S7 Edge has a 20% larger battery. Everything else should be pretty much the same. From what I've read, the larger battery is quite noticeable in real life usage.

So it's a trade off between battery+screen real estate vs easier to handle smaller S7.

I ended up getting a regular S7 for myself and the S7 Edge for my dad.

I am sure others will answer better than I do. I only use the S7 Edge briefly that isn't mine.

There is a valid reason to stick with the Note 5 if you have the 64GB version, which is the S-Pen and non-curved screen. The curved screen mean the phone need more protection and some people don't like the look.

S7 Edge improved in many ways, slightly better camera, a massive 3600mAh battery, water resistance and microSD support.

I don't think the Snapdragon 820 (on the S7) is that much faster than the old Exynos 7 (on the Note 5), but there should be small improvements.

Never got a decent phone off any ebay seller. Beware. I'd had 3 that turned out lemons after a short time.

Please read my reply above. There are several hardware features the Note 5 lacks that the S7 Edge have; a bigger 3600mAh battery, water resistance and microSD support.

Although some people do prefer the non-curved screen and uses the S-Pen.
