Not sure why you'd really want to use T8 LED's rather than replace the fixture, unless it's physically impossible to replace the fixture.

Job lot place in NE sells a 4' dual LED "T8 equiv" fixture with daisychain ability for about $15. They're LED's, so longevity will be *far longer* than other lighting methods.

Besides, for me - typically it's not the fluorescent bulbs that die, it's the ballasts. Retrofitting with LED you still need the ballast. Last time I bought one it was around $15; since I switched to true LED's I haven't had a single issue.

They wouldn't be for sale online would they?

I've been looking for led fixtures for my garage but need about a dozen or so 4'.

If not, I'll keep checking Costco and Sam's and wait for them to go on sale.

no sorry. This same chain has had CREE LED's practically for free (basically pay tax only which is about 6-7 cents a bulb laugh out loud ) for several months now.

We are in the same boat. I missed them at Sam's the other day for $27...could have kicked myself. Tried to coerce the local store to match with NO success.
