Solid specs for the price, just make sure you flash the bios right away after getting this desktop, some of the reviews mention running into a bios startup issue after about a week of having the machine.

Go to the Acer website and search for the PC model and download the BIOS update and the BIOS flash utility. Just open the utility and point it to the update file you downloaded and the utility will flash it automatically. Simple process, just don't turn off your PC during the flash process or you could corrupt it and not be able to boot up the PC.

So a bios flash is just updating the bios.

odd that it doesn't have a usb 3.1 port unless the description is wrong

if it was a less garish case design i'd consider it

Predator model, hence garish case design...free bottle of Grey Poupon is extra. bounce

With all the data miners moving on to the Vega graphics card, the price of the GTX 1070 card will drop like a stone shortly. As such, I don't think this deal's price is that great once that happens.

Anyone know offhand what the deal is for non-members? I'm thinking 5% but not sure.

Not a bad rig for the money.
