Picture shows Verizon.
Though indeed GSM unlocked, some of the LTE bands may be disabled.

When you have Note 5 available for $210 brand new, there is absolutely no reason going with HTC 10 for this type of used condition

Kind of hard to trust Samsung phones lately especially with the battery issues. Most recent being the Note 4. Question for me is as an ipod replacement would be better in the long run, HTC 10 or iPhone SE?
As audio player?
HTC 10 has very good audio DAC (for wired headphones), comparable to those of LG V10.
HTC also has built-in 32GB memory and expandable microSD.
But physical size-wise HTC 10 is a little larger than iPhone SE.

The Note 4 battery recall is not a Samsung problem. It is that a 3rd party refurbishing company received counterfeit Samsung batteries and then only after one overheated was it discovered that the batteries were counterfeit and is now replacing the batteries (they're removable anyhow).

Plus the S7 has been proven perfectly safe and the S8 has so far proven flawless with the battery as well. They screwed up big time on one product, they recalled it and killed it off, and now the batteries are more stringently tested than ever.

I don't understand why people will not trust that the batteries are not an issue anymore.

I'd be more worried about the Chinese phones that are becoming more popular having battery problems in the future.

I really enjoy my M10. They one and only thing I don't like about it is that it is difficult to see the screen in portrait mode with my sunglasses on. The screen is extremely dark. Turn it to landscape mode and no problem. Trouble is, if I'm using my phone with sunglasses on, I'm typically wanting it in portrait (to text, use calculator outside, etc.).

Other than that, I really enjoy the phone. Good battery life, good features, sounds great with my custom in-car monitors. SD card slot is a must for me too because I have lots of audio books.
