Lowe's not selling Whirlpool water heaters any more. I saw two 30 gallon and one 40 gallon natural gas water heaters in my store on clearance for $150. Check your stores.

They have both Electrical and Gas. Those I found are using Natural Gas.

They make both kinds. Just check your old one to see if it's electricor gas, and then check how many gallons, do you know what type and size to get.

I was able to see what stores around me had left by going to lowes.com, searching "whirlpool water heater", and then changing the store. Only a couple stores out of the ten or so I checked had anything left and 90% were 38-gallon electric lowboys for $238.
