Not unlockable. Don't ask.

ST Unlocking Policy :
(b) The Straight Talk phone must have been activated on Straight Talk Service for no fewer than 12 months with Service Plans redeemed in no fewer than 12 months.

This iPhone Can be unlocked using RSIM 11+ for for further information click HERE [geveystore.com]
R-SIM 11+ does work in any iPhone to unlock the carrier, but only works with 3G and 4G signals - no LTE compatibility as interposers are not able to unlock the LTE radio inside of iPhones at this point in time. If you're okay with using your iPhone on 3G or 4G only (calls and data still work) then this method will work without issue.

You can also purchase this phone at straighttalk.com directly for $129 and use e bates to get 11% cash back. https://shop.straighttalk.com/sho...-32gb-grey

For those who want to know if it's unlockable, you have to have it activated on straight talk for a year before you can request an unlock.

Neither ATT nor Straight Talk can be unlocked without spending a specific amount of time on their network , so i believe its a catchy offer ..

for those familiar with ST plans, what happens if you have the $30/100MB plan and you go over your data allotment? Does it also throttle to 2G, or do you get cut off entirely?

you got throttled to 2G, basically equals to cut off entirely, lol

How long a 1624mAh battery may last for a phone like this on normal use?

That is such BS. iPhones check with Apple's GSX servers in order to determine the lock/unlock status of the device. That's why there is no such thing as an unlock code, or any kind of magic software that can unlock a device. The only way to unlock an iPhone is through a carrier, or a 3rd party with access to the GSX servers.
