Fandango might get hit hard by MoviePass. I think Fandango should figure out some way to have it work with it

The $9.95 is guaranteed for AT LEAST a year, and I'm sure people said the same thing about RedBox when Blockbuster was charging through the roof prices.

MoviePass, I'm sure, takes a lot of your data (Movie going habits like time, movie genre, etc) and they'll sell that and make money from it. They'll also partner with movie companies and movie theaters. It's one of the guys who made Netflix, he's not an idiot, he knows what he's doing.

I don't think so. Fandango offer convenience to reserve seats ahead of time at home while moviepass requires you to be at the theater and only allows you to order for that current day. I also saw some reviews online stating that some theaters have an allocation of tickets available.

Initially yes but i dont see how moviepass will be sustainable unless they are doing anything illegal which will eventually come to light as well.

2 tix for $4. Count me in. Given the abject inability for MP to get their $%&@ together this is more than adequate for me for right now.

I'm not sure how they could possibly do that... moviepass is just a pre-loaded debit card.

allocation of tickets are usually for non-reserved seating when it's a blockbuster movie to make sure they don't overbook the theater

I would take part of this deal if I hadn't have so much credits with Boxed/Amex movietickets.com and Atom/T-Mobile deals. TU

Lots of movie deal lately. Too bad not many blockbusters out this summer. Must be a slow summer for Hollywood.

There wouldn't be so many deals if there were more blockbusters

Probably the ones that let you get e-tickets where you don't need the card.
