We found our V6 to be underpowered and with out sufficient battery life to accomplish most minor tasks (multiple passes just to pick up stray cat litter from hard surfaced floors, clears about 8-9 carpeted stairs in one charge). I'd spend the extra money on a V8 if I had to have cordless. It has been the only dyson product we've thought was mediocre.

If true then this is a deal as the soft roller cleaner head is about $150 separately (Note: that is not the nylon bristle motor head shown in the pics). I am doubtful that it is included, but that is a nice tool for vacuuming hard surfaces.

Can someone confirm the soft roller head?

Good deal since the warranty covers the battery. It's not totally clear what it comes with in the listing, but in the Q&A, a Dyson rep stated:
This particular V6 will come with the following attachments:

-Combination tool
-Crevice tool
-Motorized cleaner head
-Soft roller cleaner head

I purchased this a year ago, it's a good vacuum but you only get 6 minutes on high setting. Great for a studio apartment or small area.

I don't think so but I have never tried it. The cord would be too short anyway to be of much use even if it did work. I always hated vacuuming before as I was always plugging and unplugging the cord to use it from room to room. I love this cordless and I'm able to vacuum all the floors in my house on a single charge; I use the regular suction, rarely the boost. It seems to recharge rather quickly too.

No. It takes about 2 hours to charge it. You release the energy in 8-15 minutes when using it.
I only use mine on normal (low) setting because it's good enough and it puts less stress on the battery too.

The dust bin is small I have to empty it after each use. I would empty it each time anyways even if it were larger though since I want to minimize dust blowing out.

Has anyone figured out how to mount this properly on the wall? A lot of times mine falls out with the swivel action and bangs the wall and then the floor, I think it's a bad design but maybe I'm mounting it wrong.

Strange, I mounted mine and keep it with the attachments on, and it's very solid. Now I don't remember if I used my own mounting screws or theirs, but all I can think of is remove and remount somewhere else. You can mount it to a stud but it's not necessary as it's not that heavy. HTH.

Lol. That's terrible. My Hoover Lynx can do the whole 1450sqft house on one charge with mixed floors
