You are correct. Education is key. You clearly don't understand the benefits of this monitor at this price.

You need to adjust the settings on the monitor and NVIDIA control panel to make it look really good.

S2716 or the 24" S2416 for $50 less? I heard the panel on the 24" is better and goes up to 165hz. I've read that the 27" had inverse ghosting issues that the 24" doesn't have.

Get the 27"
24" is $500 from what I see on BB.

If you don't like it, you can easily return it with no penalty

Don't forget that you can buy 3 $150 BB gift cards here [cashstar.com] and get $45 coupon in a couple weeks. Note that this might void the extended warranty from your credit card as most credit cards require full payment on that card in order to receive extended warranty.
For those who are interested, I personally purchased an open box one plus 4-year Geek Squad Protection, with a total of $455+tax. Essentially getting extended warranty and $45 of coupon for an extra $5.

Really go look at it first before buying. It does not look good IRL

I bought it last week for that from Best Buy, it's arriving Wednesday. I have a 4K IPS LG panel and when I went in to Best Buy to look at the Dell monitor, they had it calibrated to look almost exactly like an IPS.

Doesn't this model have significant banding issues on the most recent revision?

Cheaper with Amex Offer (YMMV). Spend $300 get $30 back.

Another savings is buy the $150 BB GC get $15 GC for later use.

Charge exactly $300 on Amex card, use the $150 BB GC, pay the rest with another card with percentage offers for taxes.

Repeat with another Amex card and $150 BB GC. If you desire for more than one monitor. Peace

How do I found the Amex deal? I don't see it when I log into my Amex account.

If you didn't add the offer to your card when it was first available, most likely the offer has all been added to other accounts. All used up.
