Any idea why this tire has no warranty? What does it mean exactly for "Treadwear warranty: N/A (damaged/defective only)"?

Stay the f away from these tires. My friend bought them last time and they barely lasted 20k miles

I'm assuming he was balancing/rotating tires every 5-6k as well? Did the tread just wear out that fast? And for this same size? Pretty awful to hear if he was keeping up with rotations, etc...

Anyway, it looks like these are now OOS at Walmart. I gotta jump on a tire deal soon for my Rav4... it's been too long.
