Seems like a pretty good deal to get a SSD at this price.

I'm sure some will complain about the 1366 x 768 resolution and the 5+ lb weight, but that's just people loving to complain. Nice find.

I have one without the SSD but upgrading soon. It can also handle more than 16GB of RAM.

Is there any empty/free memory bank available...for the additional 8GB-DDR4 SIMM?
For a 256GB SSD upgrade, Dell is charging +$90.

The weight is fine but paying $600 for a sub 1080p screen on a 15.6" screen is just plain insanity to me.

Yea I didn't buy mine from site but from a lady that needed to pay some bills. $300 was a no brainer. Dell replaced my MB because kept experiencing BSODs. So far so good, just gotta get around to upgrading the HD

Not to mention it looks like the OP intentionally left the display specs out of his post. Why else would he list every, single other spec and conveniently leave out one of the most important ones that he knows this "deal" would obviously take flak for.

These are some sleazy posting tactics for sure.

OP, are you drunk? What does Waveofdestiny's valid point about the value of this laptop and its 720p display have anything to with 3D graphics benchmarks?

And "tax, if any" at Staples, a huge, national chain store with over a thousand physical B&M locations. Why would you ever consider implying that anyone wouldn't get charged sales tax at Staples???

Can you add a standard hard drive do this or are you limited to the SSD?
