It looks like the cheapest new Denon X3300 is still $100-$150 more expensive. And while it's probably a dumb reason to buy a receiver I think the Marantz is a much better looking piece of equipment.

FYI the real power output on this is 8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.08% 2ch Drive 100 W

FWIW I have a Marantz SR6007 (110w per channel) from 2013 thats still going strong, my longest lasting receiver to date. Great power...

Yamaha still makes great receivers. Receivers have complex electric circuits. Even single transistor fail causes so many problems.

I think Marantz said that the 5011, 6011, etc. will have a future firmware upgrade to support Dolby Vision. The 6011 supports 5.2.4 but is twice the price of the 5011 which supports 5.2.2.

I have a SR5010. Audessey is a life saver and makes set up and tuning extremely easy. That being said, the power output on mine is a little bit weak and I have tripped it into safety mode by just using 2 JBL590's. Other than that I have only wonderful things to say about Marantz and these AVR's. Atmos is awesome. Jump on it!

Your Denon may have a 1, 2, or 3 year manufacturer warranty.

You should have AT LEAST 2 years if you used any reasonably good credit card. Citi cards add 2 years!
