I paid 80 shipped for my first analog SD 4 camera low res setup. Pretty quickly it was obvious I need/wanted at least 720p HD setup. This is a great deal on a nice starter HD setup that you can add a cheap hard drive and better 1080p cameras later. A 1tb purple surveillance drive is less than 60 now or use whatever sata drive you have leftover as long as it doesn't run too hot running 24/7.
My first one I ran a ancient first gen WD sata that had both power plugs on it seeing how sata was so new finding the extra new power cables was hard to do. It ran super hot but worked. New setup I bought a WD purple surveillance grade drive. It was cheap enough and runs extremely cool. If you want a decent setup on a budget I'd recommend this as long as the sale price lasts.

720p indoor/ outdoor? Don't we need Full HD or 4K resolution?

Hi Jp295m,

yes.. 720p is typically results in too few pixels on target unless the target is very close to the camera.

If anyone can point me to the FOV for these cameras I would be able to add the data to the running list for ID distance I have here:
