Awesome deal!!! Just got the tv yesterday and today it dropped another $200 to $1799! XBR65X900E

Highly reviewed as the best bang for the buck of 2017!

Also, there's a combo deal at bestbuy which gives you $200 off an HT-NT5 soundbar making it $399!! (should still be around as I got that deal yesterday!)

This does look like an amazing deal for this tv. Should I wait it out for the LG Oled to drop during the holiday season or buy this?

Any inputs are greatly appreciated!

It is a good price for this tv as I have been watching it. Unless you have a price protection credit card and can price match to TVSuperStores and get it for around $1299, I would hold out a couple months for OLED.

OLED is the better tv but how much are you expecting it to drop? I just bought last years 55 for 1800. The 65 inch will be 2500 range for the 2018 models.

I saw OLED 65C6 for $1600 at fry's, it should be a better deal than this. Although the LG is limited stock as it is on clearance. My store had one in a box.

I see this is missing Dolby vision support, which is disappointing.

Is there any reason to buy this over the Vizio P-Series that supports Dolby Vision and can be had for less??

Just a warning to some - This TV does not and will not support Dolby Vision. I also believe the same can be said for Dolby Atmos in regards to this TV.

This is a very good TV, but like others have mentioned, this TV does not get dolby vision. Additionally, this is only 10% off its normal price of $1999 and i would expect to see it drop closer to 1500-1600 by the end of the year. If you want a decent 65 inch cheap, wait for the new TCL p series which will be released at the end of the year for under $1000, if you want a nice 65 inch, get an oled when you find it on sale.

Unfortunately, TCL has cancelled the 65 and 50 inch versions of the P-Series for some undisclosed reason. The frustration is real.

$1940 ($1800+tax) for a 65" X900e is no where near "best bang for the buck". You can purchase a 65" OLED B7p or C7p for about this same price with CC price protection. Or you can get a 2017 Vizio P Series for $1510 ($1399+tax) at Costco with much better warranty and not CC PP. (Vizio P and Sony x900e are very closely matched)

Even without CC PP, the LG C7p is $500 better than this TV. But in no way is this TV anywhere close to $420 better than the Vizio P.

Best Bang for the Buck 2017 TVs goes to TLC P for 55" or Vizio M for 65" and 70". This TV is not worth purchasing for more than $1500

As a bundle with the soundbar this seems like a stellar deal. If you want to get the ZR5s to make the sound bar 5.1 they are on sale at crutchfield. Buy 2 get $100 off. Makes the complete system deal $2,499.96.
