Southwest should change their name to Eclipse Airlines.

Their ads get lots of hype, but in reality it's no different than any other day.

I have 6, 1 way flights that are being watched. 4 did not change in price, 1 went up $17, the other down $10.

Another week, another hyped non-sale from Southwest.

Yup, I made a tool using Selenium and Ghost driver last year and ran it every hour. Was able to snag a great deal.

I just check their website periodically. Usually early Tuesday, late Thursday, and again on the weekend.

I am unaware of an app or anything that tracks prices on SW. Hopefully others may chime in with one.

21 TU's for this so far? Long Beach to Oakland getting that much love? I checked flights for PDX to LAX and they're coming in more expensive than Alaska and Delta by several hundred for RT.

Feels shilly in here.

You can do that with selenium if you can do some programming.

I agree. The sales don't seem to effect prices very much. Same price from one day to the next. I have been looking at a flight from PHX to LAX for the last 6 months and it has only gone up.

I always fly Southwest, great airline, but I never see their prices move when they announce a new sale. At least my flights I'm interested in. Maybe a deal for the 3 people that want to fly Milwaukee to Detroit. Smilie

I find checking prices a couple time a week will net me the occasional lower price.

SW's "deals" never leave from where I am, no matter where I am. It's a bunch of horseshit. I hate these "sales."

Thanks for calling BS on these crappy Southwest non sales.

A Southwest "Nationwide sale" is about as useful as a "Macy's three day sale". In other words, business as usual, nothing to see here, move along.
