Is it as hot as the SanDisk? Or have they fixed the heat issue? The 128GB SanDisk Ultra my husband has gets pretty hot when in use, so he doesn't leave it plugged in all the time, which is one of the advantages of these tiny drives.

Based on other Slickdeals users, Samsung flash drives don't get as hot as Sandisk. They are cooler, but the trade off is that it is slower than Sandisk. Sandisk is faster making it hotter. Hope this makes sense. I only use plastic flash drives which do not get hot (but are a lot larger in size unfortunately).

Yea I wont even use my Sandisk anymore. It gets WAY too hot and I seriously worry about it damaging the devices USB port or something.
