Puts out plenty of air for a $9 fan sitting on an end table by the couch or nightstand by the bed. Don't expect it to circulate air throughout your entire home and you won't be disappointed

What I love about reading the comments: "It's really quiet" then "It's really noisy" or "this thing really pushes air" and "this thing doesn't blow any air at all"

That's why I bought mine....I put a timer on it....it runs 12 hours a day, every day....it's a good 2 years old. I don't know about air movement because it's strictly for white noise for me.

This thing hardly puts out any air, even at high speed.

Got it at bestbuy yesterday $9 I think. Nothing groundbreaking for maybe the best selling fan out there. I wouldn't get it at the normal price of $18 or whatever.

Agreed. And my motor just died this week even though it's been in a clean environment. Great white noise maker though!

These work great for purpose. Circulating air into hot room in the house. Stopped me having to put separate window unit in.

I got one from amazon for work and it's amazing. Fairly quiet even on high and definitely moves air at speeds 2&3.

This. I bought 2 of these a few months back and paid $10 each. It's super quiet and keeps me cool while I'm on the computer or on the bed watching tv.

If you want something that really pushes and puts out air then get one of those mainstays box fans from WalMart for a couple bucks more.

I bought 2 earlier this month and so far they are great. Not too loud & nice breeze on highest setting. Not a substitute for central air on really hot & humid days, but it's not supposed to be. And even when the AC is on, I run it just to circulate the cool air. We're very happy with these little fans! Well worth this price, imo. (I used e b a t e s last time, not sure if this category is still available now, tho.)

Errors can occur. I'd just chalk it up to bad luck, lol.
