I've been waiting for a sale on this mouse. Mine now has the dreaded double click with single click issue and I just don't have the dexterity to do the repair shown online.

I looked back to see how old mine is but must be more than 5 years as that is far as I can go back. I'm pretty sure I paid $29.99 for it back then so it doesn't hurt so bad to replace it now.

With my Rheumatoid Arthritis this is the only mouse I can comfortably use - and why I can't attempt the repair.

I very much wanted to like the MX Master, but found the back of it to taper off too quickly, leaving my palm dragging on the surface. Hoping this one will be more comfortable.
Thanks, OP!

Mx Master has bluetooth, is a little heavier, more grip, and has a touch sensitive button.
Other than that, same buttons

Yeah i have a 10 year old Logitech that is still going strong, but wear and tear. It's the Logitech MX Laser 1000.

I am very interested in getting this. Would this be a considerable upgrade?

thx,

I just got the MX Master, which is the next step up. As a previous poster mentioned, very minor differences. In your case, weight will be the only difference. This mouse has good weight to it and I absolutely love it.

Great for CS thus far.

BOOM HEADSHOT.

I have 2 of these, 1 for the house and one for the office. 2 years and no issues yet with either. I think I'll pick one up as a backup

Crazy to keep buying this well-known stinker of a mouse. I went through three of them (free replacements) and they all had that double click problem after weeks. Logitech stubbornly keeps selling these pieces of s#@!. As noted in a comment here, you should try the MX Master.

I had this mouse going strong for almost 6 years over 4 different assignments and it held up well. The track wheel started wearing off hence I had to put it to rest!!! But will totally buy this again.

this or G602? They are the same price. Since G602 is good for gaming, and I hear people said G602 have better battery life. Don't know which one I'm getting. LoL.anyone suggest?

Off-topic, but I put in an RMA request for my G700s a week ago today and still haven't gotten a response, aside from the automatic "Thank you we got your request blah blah blah." Has this been anyone else's experience? I bought it new, and had to RMA it before because the scroll wheel was unbalanced, and now some of the button just outright don't work and cause issues with navigation. It's like the mouse is constantly sending Ctrl commands, even after I cleared all of the assigned functions. Last time I RMA'd, my service was prompt and satisfactory.
