Normally priced 59.99, this is one of the best portable solar power chargers you can get for price/performance. Deal ends in a few hours so grab it while it's hot.

My apologies for the formatting, it's my first post. I hope that I helped everyone in finding a great deal Smilie

Is this for your house in case of power failure?

This is a quality little solar panel and a good value relative to other offerings at this size, but you will also need to budget for a USB battery pack for it. The idea is, this panel charges your battery pack, then you charge your phone/tablet/whatever from the pack. You would not want to hook your phone directly to the panel, as the output likely wont' be steady enough, and also that means your phone would also be sitting in direct sunlight, and heat is the enemy of any rechargeable battery.

Note this panel will never make sense as a financial proposition. You will literally never generate enough "free" electricity from this panel to earn back the $45 it costs. This is for stuff like casual camping, or experimenting with solar energy. If you are doing hardcore backpacking and such, the premium for a more expensive, but more rugged Goal Zero panel is likely worth it. But for 90% of cases, this panel is a good value proposition.
