Anything more than $1100 is not a great deal

Could you share a historical link for that price just for reference? I did a search in SD for UN65MU8000 and the most recent deal appears to be $1599 from last month. I don't see one for under $1100 here in the forums, though my search skills are not the greatest.

Thanks!

Is this a good deal? Looks like P65 or Sony x900 would be much better TV sets. The contrast on this is average compared to FALD units.

Got it, so it is their personal opinion that this TV is worth nothing more than $1,100 in today's market.

Carry on. Peace

Last year during Thanksgiving, Samsung website allowed people to get last year's KS8000 version through EPP program for incredible prices.
55'' for about 800 and 65'' for $1000.
I haven't seen such prices after that.. KS series became MU series for 2017.

I personally think the other Sony 900E for $1799 for HDR viewing is better than this deal.

"US Warranty" does not nessecarily mean "Manufacturers warranty"

"warranty: 1 year parts & labor — in-home service", no link toactual Samsung manufacturers warranty for the model [samsung.com].

Is this possibly a grey market TV?

can you do price protection with Chase or Citi to ebuyusa which has this listed for ~$1078 with discount in cart?

This year's MU series is not equivalent to last year's KS series

MU series is a step down version from KS Series

For $1500, Vizio P-Series is way better TV

This is worse quality than last year's 8000 series, for a higher price. Not a good deal.
