Menards will send you an email for the rebate process. You have to fill out the form and mail it out to the Menards rebate processing office. It is 11% store credit rebate and valid until 8/26.

I bought it from Home Depot before. I liked this one and it worth the price. I haven't seen any sale for this item so wanted to share this to you folks. Hope this was helpful information for those who need security camera device at home.

Not truly WIRELESS. You need to run the power cables to the cameras.

Yes, you got the point.
Wireless stands for power operation while 'Wire-Free' stands for totally no wiring job. Wire-Free cameras are standalone type via battery operation, so it can only do motion capture snapshot photos or a few seconds video recording. That's why a lot of people still prefer wireless camera kit since they do not have run the cable all the way around their place. I first tried Arlo, but it didn't work out for me since the battery ran out less than a day, so I had to return it.

IMHO it's disingenuous to say it's 349 or whatever after rebate, because the menards rebate isn't cash, or even a card you can use anywhere, it's a certificate you can only spend at Menards. Looks like a decent system though, real wifi IP cameras not some bs analog hodge podge. Also said rebate would be silly for those saving sales tax since they'd have no store to spend it at, unless they bought more stuff online. Unless Menards has significantly changed their 11% rebate program recently, anyways.

Oh.. how about buying something with that certificate on Menards online store? . I thought I could use the certificate on their online store as well. Also, since there is no Menards store nearby my location, they do not charge sales tax for my shipping address which is $347.09 out the door price with free shipping.

Sorry for my complete lack of tech knowledge but I'm looking for security (especially night-country, no lights) and my husband just renewed our travel internet (?). I just learned we can only connect about 6 things to this internet and we're about maxed.
Would this need our Internet?
If so, is there another option??
Thanks for any answers.

You actually do not need any internet access for the physical use. Internet access is only required for your remote view such as smartphone or PC live/recorded video view. For doing that, you have to connect your DVR to your router with network cable. This was the reason why I bought this system because there was no internet on my vacation home. Most other wireless systems need internet access even for using the item itself because the cameras send out the data to your own router and your router transmit the data onto your main DVR recorder unit.
