Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed Fertilizer 43 lb, Covers 15,000 sq ft - $25 at Select Walmart Stores YMMV

I noticed the clearance price dropped again from $35 to $25 at my local stores (Northeast PA) and locally there are still some left (i.e. 29 in Taylor, PA and 16 in Honesdale, PA) according to Brickseek. I believe these usually cost around $53 during peak warm weather season.

You should find them in your clearance section, for me locally it's the outside garden area that is covered.

Good luck!

UPDATE: It looks like the newer Scotts Weed and Feed 2X Fertilizer is also on clearance at select Walmarts. Also YMMV. See below. Thanks for sharing this info, Drayven911!

I went by Walmart to pick up some fertilizers OP posted since it was only $5 around my area (zip code 30157) and noticed there was a different version of the Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed Fertilizer also covers 15,000 sq ft for the same price all stacked up together in the garden area.

According to the description, this fertilizer is up to 2X more powerful dandelion and clover control vs. previous formula.

OP, you can add this information to your post, and as always, YMMV.
UPDATE #2: People are now posting below that they are finding bags in stock for as low as $5.

Looks really widespread 25 with tons of inventory around me. Best time to do this is fall anyway isn't it?

I do it in the fall but I use the Scotts Winterguard Fall Weed and Feed. I don't see a big difference in fertilizer analysis, this weed and feed is 28-0-3 and Winterguard is 28-0-6. Just a slight difference in the potash so I would use this in fall in my opinion.

Is this going to be a brickseek run around? Walmart site saying none in stock but brickseek saying 5. Who do I believe?

*EDIT
Another brickseek waste of time. None were in stock and the department head said he hadn't seen any since July. I'm starting to agree with many that say brickseek is worthless.

I've always trusted Brickseek before the Walmart site but there were times that the items were sold out by the time I got to the store. I think a trip to the store might be worth it if you really need the fertilizer. Best of luck and hope you find a bag.

How good is this stuff? Just moved in to a new house and the grass is full of weeds. I had a Gardner quote me $300 to get rid of all the weeds and get the grass going again. Can I buy a bag of this stuff and do it on my own??

here is the BS link to the 5,000 sq ft bag for $9 most places http://brickseek.com/walmart-inve...u=41523061

an alternative if you need less, or your store is OOS on the 15,000 sq ft bags.

and here is the 5,000 sq ft bag of Scotts Turf Builder Lawn Food Northern for $7 most places http://brickseek.com/walmart-inve...u=25852076
