Someone else can clean this up, I am just dropping it here so people can see:

hypothetically, for $1 off each pass and added benefits one could just put 20 0's (thats 00000000000000000000 or whatever 20 numbers) in the box and any last name to generate a code to get the $1 off and extra benefits.

Note: Applicable sales tax and an $8.99 processing fee will be added to every order. It is unclear if the processing fee can be avoided by purchasing directly at the park; however, the parking fee would likely outweigh the processing fee. This tends to vary by park. Magic Mountain wouldn't let me.

Discover Card and Six Flags did not renew their partnership this year, so no extra Cash Back there.

Few observations based on being a Six Flags Gold Pass Member for a couple of years now:

- The August end sale is usually the cheapest of the sales throughout the year. Also, a season pass bought during this sale/later is valid for the current season (till year end 2017) and also good for the entire next season (end of 2018).
- The rates of passes do vary based on the park location. You need to pick the pass from the park for which you buy the pass (This becomes your home park). But the pass is valid for all the other parks (check the exclusion list) including free parking for Gold Pass. One thing to consider though is you get the free stuff/offers only for your home pass. eg: Bring your friend free is applicable only to Home Park.
- Same goes with Dining Pass. Rates may vary based on the park (you can only buy the dining pass for the home park of your season pass) but the pass is applicable at all the other parks.
Premium dining pass is a good value to be purchased at this sale since it includes 1 lunch, 1 dinner, and 1 snacks and also gets you the unlimited free cold drinks bottle. The dining pass is worth the money if you go to the park more than thrice during the validity.
- Gold Passes are usually the most bang for the buck since it includes Free parking (usually $20+ for each visit) and brings a friend free/reduced rate, and free entry to other events like Fright Fest, Holiday in the Park.

-------

SIx Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California has announced that starting January 1, 2018, they will be open 365 days of the year so this may be a good time to purchase passes that will be valid for all of 2018.

-------------------------------
Six Flags has an ios/android app, you can scan your printed season pass into the app just like you can with your season pass card. Anyone can get free parking if they show the card or virtual pass on the phone.

to add the pass to the app, all you need is the name and bar code number.

That's called YOU aging, not just the park! The older you get the harder time your body has reacting to the rides and recovering from rides. It sucks!!

They've alienated their entire pickup driving cousin marrying client base apparently. They've also offended SDers that misuse the term "sellout".

I bought passes late last year for something like 30+ a person and I wasn't a current holder or even a single day visitor. These don't typically need to be prior customers.
