"Up to" 60% off + $30 (when you spend at least $300). What is actually is (at best) is 10% their regular prices, yes? Meh.

Misleading title.

FYI most of them are the same hotels you get from Priceline Express deals, but Priceline is cheaper, plus often codes are offered, especially booking by mobile app. Even $30 off $300 still won't make up. Haven't used hotwire for long time.

For those who know how to use Priceline and Hotwire, its a steal. Yes they have almost the same vendors but both have special contracts with some groups and hotels for better deals. I just booked thru Hotwire with the $30 off $300 for 4.5 star in NYC. Priceline's closest express hotel was $155 to a 4.5 star not in the area I wanted, Hotwire was $138 for what I wanted and got the $30 off $300. Also calculate ebat3s . C0M for 4% CB helps as well and 3% CB for Chase Reserves with the 1.5x travel rewards.

Know how to play the hotwire/priceline game and it'll save you a good chunk of change when you travel.

Would you mind helping me out? i have heard short versions of hotwire and looking up the hot rates via services offered.. i am looking for 5 star hotel in SD and it looks like area offered there is only one 5 star in that exact defined area, does that mean i can only get that? or can they give me something nearby.

Its weird because hot rate says 95% satisfied or whatever but the actual hotel (not in hotrates) says 97% satisfied.

Not to poo poo on your deal, but when I clicked through,
I searched for our dates and location. It says it has a great deal, but won't tell me where it is.?.
I guess I'm supposed to 'trust' them right?
