This is tempting but I have had rotten experiences with them in the past.

Is this on Sprint OR AT&T? If I can get this deal on AT&T's network BYOD it might be worth it. If it is Sprint's network only I'll probably pass.

This is the key right here. If it's real cellular minutes and REAL text messages then this is a decent deal. Otherwise they're basically now charging for what used to be free (counting FreedomPop friends). They don't specify anything on their offer page, and it won't let you checkout without at least a $5 sim card (which I don't need) and that they want an incredible $10 shipping charge for. Bigeye Yeah right.

Edit: I'm thinking it HAS to be real cellular service. Their talk and text is unlimited over VOIP, so why bother specifying the number 1,000 unless it were something of actual value? So $65 divided by 12... $5.42/month. I'll have to think this over some more.

Based upon their website, this offer is mentioned as GSM offer therefore it should be AT&T

"Get Free Voice, Text, and LTE Data with this 3-in-1 SIM that works with unlocked GSM Android or iOS smartphones."

Comes out to $65 for the cheapest method for just a sim. $10 to ship just the sim is pretty crappy and there is no option for free shipping so website is lying. Its GSM so its assumed this runs off ATT towers?

If it's not VOIP voice and sms and on AT&T network, it's not a bad deal at all. But it's Freedompop too...

Picture on that offer shows CDMA network... so how is that relevant if it's a GSM/AT&T offer? Confusing...

if it's a sim, then it's probably the 3in1 using AT&T network.

in the past, that sim only comes with 200meg data.
friends = + 500meg
total = 700meg

this deal is 1gig data.
if friends is allowed, then 1.5gig.
then its basically $5/month for additional 800meg

meh, i'll stick to my free 1gig/month data (including friends) on the sprint network.

Do you know if they shut off data once you hit the limit each month, or throttle you to 2g?

Since I use Google Voice with my Freedompop phone I get unlimited calls and texts as long as I stay under 1GB of data, but this might be a good deal for the wife's phone. Currently I am on the $19 per month for her, mostly for unlimited texts. When she was on 200 texts per month it wasn't enough, I wonder if 1000 is enough? Unfortunately there's no way to see how many she has been using.

This is a total PoooooP.. its CDMA network(Count Sprint coverage). VOIP, no speed mention of 1GB data(it is certainly lowest possible speed). Folks, dont fall for this pOOp... it is indeed free $$ for FreedOm pOOp .. SD should ban these cheaters off our esteemed SD site for life.

Classic FreedomPop. Their signup page is vague and borderline deceiving. People need to know what they sign up for before we can commit for one whole year.

FreedomPop rep - where are thou?
