Yes, zero point in pre-ordering. Cell phone market is way to saturated, heck I think Samsung's own galaxy S8 plus is going to cannabalize Note 8 sales.

If you're going to flip the 2nd phone, better sell it fast! The market will be swimming with Note 8's soon enough.

Agree. Even Samsung's own store had a shit ton of sales on the s8 and s8+ within a couple of months of release. Anandtech's feature table [anandtech.com] shows how similar the s8+ and Note 8 are.

About $1K for a phone after tax?
Looks like Samsung tries to get what they spent on the damage of Note 7

It's worth mentioning that a few months ago they were offering $225 simply for porting over, with no device required. However - I am still waiting for my $200 bill credit from that promotion. I have filed 2 "escalations" with MWorks, and they seem to be heading nowhere, although the people are extremely friendly and apologetic.

Fairly happy with my s8+, only thing I wish it had was nighttime face unlock, like the new iPhone 8

Not sure why they didn't implement that tech into the note8

I got lucky with my purchases, both trade-ins I did got accepted. cheapest by far was the unidays deal with iphone trade in. net cost was $400 after taxes and price of the iPhone from Walmart

hopefully Samsung runs similar promotions with the note8

Sounds about right. I tried Tmobile for 3 months. Every bill was wrong. Every single one. And conveniently enough they all were about $100 overcharging me on each one. How come the billing errors never favored me? The nice Indian people I spoke to would fix the bills. Only took about 3 phone calls for each bill. I left them as soon as I possibly could. Thank God there was no contract. I still would have left though.

These guys are turds. Keep using the same promo codes for different promotions. No wonder people get screwed left and right with mworks. Save PDF copies of the promotion.

My bills have been on point, except the very first one which didn't apply the Insider Hookup deal. One chat with TForce over Twitter fixed that in 5 minutes. My problem has been purely with MWorks - which is this third party dealer who offers these crazy deals.

The S8+ was $508 after trade in and tax, the max trade in was $250 the S8 was $400, how did you get the s8$ for $400? Selling the VR or Entertainment Kit or Gear 360?
