Excellent MP3/Spotify music player, remote, burner phone...too bad that it's through BJs only.

If you pay the ransom on the back of the box it will unlock for postpaid. The GSM radios should be unlocked out of the box but it doesn't have the bands to work well on any other network besides Verizon.

Bands 2, 4, 5, 13

This is what I take to the gym with me to listen to audio books, music, talk radio, etc.

Never activated.

Of the numerous LG budget phones I've bought since 2014, this is the only one with a narrow angle TN screen. The screen darkens or washes out severely if you tilt in the landscape orientation. It's also one of very few budget phones (sub-$20) with 1.5GB of RAM so it's good for running memory hungry apps or multiple background app. 3.95GB storage free out of the box. Has serviceable front rear camera with flash and autofocus, GPS/compass, light and proximity sensors.

If you want a budget unlockable phone with cellular voice/data on AT&T/T-Mobile or their MVNOs for a reasonable price, search forum for the Cricket LG Risio 2 instead.

You are right about the screen.

The RAM makes this a good Perk/beermoney device though. Make your outlay back in a month, then run them until they die for profit. And they all die running 24/7 so go as cheap as you can
