I don't trust SD rebates. Got burned once. Never again.

If I could quantify to my wife why this would be a great purchase I'd jump, but I've bought two TVs this year and I just don't think she'll buy into it. Great post though

Great deal for someone in the market of an entry level 4k TV.

I'm still waiting for a deal on a higher end 75'' though.

Thanks

pretty good actually, MU series has some of the best response time for gaming. Quality of panel however is noticeably worse than higher end samsung, vizio or sony's in the 75 area. M or P series vizio would be significant better, but prices aren't close to $1500 (after gift card).

And I've got 2 Vizio TVs, both with problems. I actually think the new Xbox coming out will have a positive impact for consumers on big 4ks. Will keep waiting. Thanks

It was Sony's 2016 top end model with full array back lighting at $2800 shipped/no tax.

As we get closer Black Friday and end of year we'll probably see the 2017s start to drop in that territory.

Unfortunately no HDR which imho means it is not future proof

The HDR version of this TV is UN75MU8000
Are you sure? The specs on the site state it has HDR.
