Is this good deal? Since iPhone 8 will release in 3 weeks. Expecting 6s will discontinued, iPhone 7 will be iPhone 6s price.

You answered your own question if what you said is correct. And with the way Apple handle their software updates, it will be a matter of time before your 6S Plus slows down and starts lagging.

I personally don't think it's a good deal.

Time is relative. The 5s is getting iOS 11. That's 2 years older. Most people don't keep phones more than 2 years anyway.

Please excuse that horrific grammatical error. I woke up too early for my own good.

Since you quoted me, my mistake will always be there. Frown

Having owned both a 6s and a 7, unless the 3.5mm jack is essential, I'd hold out for a 7. Also, if you can afford it, go with more storage.

these should definitely be lowered in price. Why do they keep trying to squeeze every last penny out of people?

My daughter wants a new phone (from the SE), but I'm thinking that my wife can upgrade next month to whatever shenanigans apple has available, and my daughter can get her 256GB iPhone 7 plus for $503. That's good right? or should I be shopping around?

32 GB is nowhere near enough storage if you're going to be taking videos/photos and want apps.

I doesn't think it's that great of a deal as well BUT better than paying full $ if you need one.
