Exxon is more expensive than Costco ...in my area

Use the saving for a membership at Costco and in long term you save more imo

7x3= 21

Also you save 10 cents for each gallon you buy from Costco over Exxon which equals roughly with $5 per card
$5x 3= 15

21+ 15= 36.... I just got my membership at Costco for 35

Also you have a whole year to save up on Costco gas once you have the membership

The save is even higher is the gap between Costco price per gallon vs Exxon is bigger than 10 cents

Publix supermarket has $50 gas cards for only $40 Thursday through Sunday this week,when you spend $50 or more on groceries. This is a regular deal for customers at least once or twice per month.

SVM is very good too, I have bought these discount gc's without any issues.

That publix seems like a good deal. I buy these just because there's a Mobil around the corner Smilie

As a former PhD student and TA, -10 points for not explaining steps Smilie

In nj you don't need to have Costco membership for gas. They never ask for my membership card. Even I hand it to them they just take the credit card. And I agree Exxon is expensive than Costco. I usually get premium recently I was comparing the prices and Costco had premium for 2.53. Exxon has regular for 2.60+

Locally, my Exxon is one of the cheapest gas, and using these cards plus Plenti it typically knocks another 3-5 cents off (like cash price vs credit, but even when cash price is the same it still goes lower). Second, I trust Exxon/Mobil gas more for better detergents than Costco for my M3 engine, but could care less for my Honda FWIW. Last, and probably most important to me, I have zero interest in waiting 20-30 minutes in the insane lines at Costco gas in my area. My time is worth 10x+++ more than the savings I might get to sit parked there waiting forever, and half the people are just idiots and don't understand how to swipe two cards through the pump.

I don't know why this was TD'd. I get that these deals used to be $90 for $100, but $7 savings plus eBay bucks and cashback is still a good deal.
