PSA - Verizon Military Discount Changes from 15% to $15 for new Go Unlimited and Beyond Unlimited Plans

Per the updated website https://www.verizonwireless.com/s...s/#item2-2

Question: I'm a member of the military or a veteran. Do I qualify for a discount?

Yes, as part of our commitment to support the men and women who serve our country, we offer a $15 account discount for Go Unlimited and Beyond Unlimited, or a 15% discount off most other advertised Verizon standard monthly plans.

15% still applies for old GB plans but the two new unlimited plans are showing $15 when I look to switch.

Can anyone confirm if the 15% discount still applies to the unlimited plans from a week ago?

This is a deal breaker for me. I will be moving to ATT with the 'iPhone 8'

Yes, 15% still applies to the old unlimited plans. However, the 15% only applies to part of the $80/mo:
- $20 line access fee
- $60 unlimited plan <- the 15% applies here
- plus taxes and fees

Verizon sucks so bad. I'm with them but considering jumping ship more and more often.

yes it has changed to $15 instead of 15% but could actually save you more depending on your plan setup, as the % only applied to the plan and not line access charges, etc.

Why does Verizon hate our troops?
