Why would you not stock pile trash bags? It's not like the bags expire or you will one day stop using them. You will ALWAYS use trash bags!

Can't speak for him, but space? Apply your logic to toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, handsoap, dish soap and detergent etc... Suddenly you have a closet full of items you'll take 6 months to use. If you have the space, why not? But if it's stacked in your living room blocking your television/table you eat at or preventing you from actually making use of your spare room... Not so much.

In case everyone doesn't already know - Amazon will treat add on items as regular items if the total reaches the minimum ($25) required in any grouping/combination of add on items as long as they all fall into the "Ships from Amazon.com" category.

From their link:
"Add-on items must be part of an order containing $25 of items shipped by Amazon.com (inclusive of the Add-on items and including items sold by other sellers that are shipped by Amazon). Your order can include a mix of Add-on items and other items shipped by Amazon, or be entirely made up of Add-on items"

How much of a saving is this vs typical store prices? I'm debating whether to order 3x, but my wife doesn't like me stockpiling stuff like this.

Well, take the price of how much you would pay at the store, divide it by how many bags you would get for said price to get the cost per bag. Then compare to how much you would pay for this deal (which is $0.09/bag). If you want, you can take the difference, divide by the price/bag you'd pay at the store, and calculate the savings in %....
