Just a FYI. I'd recommend doing some research on this brand before ordering.

Frontline Plus can be quite expensive so I tried this cheaper brand around a year ago for my dog and my mom's dog. Both our dogs had fleas 2 weeks later. Her dog lives in the country and mine in town. Neither were in or around a wooded area but fleas have been very bad in our area recently.

I know the box says they use the same "active ingredients" as Frontline Plus. I had read some reviews prior to purchasing describing this exact same result but figured they may be inaccurate or rare occurrences. They weren't, at least in our case. Since switching back to frontline plus, we both have not had another flea occurrence.

Been using it since it came out with 2 dogs...I live in a rural area and it works great for me. It's simply fipronil....nothing more nothing less.

I dunno...I've used it on our two dogs (76 lbs and 125 lbs), and they seem to be flea-free...

It full may well work for others, but it's only the "active" ingredients which are the same. Some people may just assume it's working the same when there dog doesn't get fleas, but they may not have got fleas without any use of flea medication. From what I've read, the inactive ingredients has to do with the way the "active" ingredients are absorbed into the dogs skin which attributes to it's effectiveness.

I only stated my experience, which was like MANY others I've read since then. No fleas ever with Frontline Plus and then fleas within 2 weeks of trying this PetArmor Plus brand on both mine and my moms dog. Take it for what it's worth.

Fleas in 2 weeks?? I know people that live in the backwoods of a south central virginia that don't use anything and their dogs don't have flea.

You might want to check your home...u may be infested, especially if your dog's get fleas in two weeks. Fipronil is fipronil....it doesn't absorb into the skin, it is a broad spectrum insecticide and it will kill fleas ticks termites and just about any other insect it comes in contact with.

For me pet armor is the exact same as the major brand name item at less than half the cost....I've used both for many years with the exact same results...but take that for what it's worth....someone random on the Internet 'opinion'.....but read up on fipronil and you will agree.

I wasn't solely relying on some random internet "opinion". I wasn't looking to argue over this generic brand vs Frontline Plus. I only gave my EXPERIENCE as a datapoint.

I'm done with this subject.
