Saw these in store (Costco) for like $13, not sure if they're decent though

The attached pics are two different brands.

Also different regions have different suppliers/brands.
This is what they have in my local Costco (SoCal/LA county), several flavors/varieties available.

Costco in Portland has them for 14.99/box. Price is comparable to buying them from the Asian supermarket

Am I the only one who thinks these things taste disgusting (esp. w/ yolk) and only like the ice cream versions of these? (but those are so rare and never available in North America)

I like the pineapple, lotus seed, and red bean. With or without yolk. I'd describe them more like XXL Fig Newtons which are meant to be sliced and shared. Some might consider at face value, oatmeal cookies or Rice Krispies Treats might sound "awful".

Our family rarely eat any moon cake or buy moon cake from any store market. We do special for homemade order only. It taste much better & it little more pricey than normal moon cake. We don't like the egg we like 100% veg. version Wink
