Side note:

I highly recommend this grip from a shootability standpoint: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1
It will definitely enlarge the profile of the revolver, so it wouldn't be best when concealment is of utmost important, however it will make this snub nose a heck of a lot easier to shoot. If you are waist carrying then it's not as much of an issue, it's really only a problem if you are pocket carrying since the profile will be much larger.

Would this be the same as 163810A? Because that's the one that's on CA gun roster. I've been in the market for a small gun like this. I was about to settle for a Rock island 38spl.

in response to rex5472...
That is all on you. You need to know if you want a revolver or pistol. What is your budget? Preferred caliber? Stuff like that. My first gun had to be a do it all. 9mm since it's a common caliber and cheap, compact for conceal carry, reliable, customizable, accurate. I chose my first as the cz 75 p01. It has a picatinny rail for a light/laser attachment. It can be converted to a 22lr with the kadet kit. Cz is a quality gun company at a great price.

edit: also it accepts a lot of the other cz 9mm magazines.

edit 2: watch quality gun channels that reviews guns like hickok45, gunblastdotcom, sootch00, Paul Harrell and Alabama arsenal are my go to guys.

edit 3: get a rifle after your first gun. variety is good. try and avoid the scary black guns if you're in a commie state. you'll avoid the headaches I'm dealing with, with the AR right now. get a mini 14 if you want something like the AR. or better yet a m1a rifle because it's not scary looking but much more powerful.

I would look at something that has a greater round count. I personally love the fns 9c. Compact and holds enough rounds plus accepts the fns 9 17round mags.

1. go to a gun show and handle all the guns you think you like and mark them down
2. go to a gun range and rent all the ones you felt good with in your hands in step 1
3. buy the one you shoot most accurately and comfortably with within your budget

Oh FFS nobody's trying to take your guns away. And there are tons of gun (especially bullet /ammo) deals on here all the time..I watch them for my dad. So Go drink some more of the NRA's kool-aid ..paranoids like you have made them very wealthy.

you could skip step one and just try whichever gun you think you'll like at the range...
