This highly rated T-fal deep fryer features a oil filtration system which drains and filters oil for future use, an advanced oil temperature heating system which helps seal the food's exterior for minimal oil absorption and healthier fried foods and includes an adjustable thermostat. -slickdewmaster

I returned my 5 gallon bucket because it required 5 gallons of whatever I put in it to fill it. Do you know what a deep fryer is? The whole idea is that you submerge food in a vat of oil.

Thanks, actually wanted one of these after I bought a normal fryer without the oil filtration system, it became a hassle to drain the oil.

Bought this one and had to return it as it requires a lot of oil. It is not compact at all and took a lot of space on the counter.
Lol what deep Fryer doesn't require a lot of oil.

I have this. After maybe 20 uses the filtration switch failed, and now I have a standard non-filtering fryer. Just FYI.

Had this for years and it's served me well. I don't really use the oil capture function and I wish there was some where to place the lid when you're adding/removing food. Instead you just have to place it to the success which is a bit messy.

That being said it's good quality, it's heat is accurate (max 375F) and has a reasonable capacity (15-20 wings).

Had mine for two years now and love it. Makes the best wings. No issues, still filters and runs perfect. Great price!

Just my 2 cents as a deep fry lovin american. More oil is a good thing, because you won't get as bad of a temp drop when you're dropping your frozen goodness in. Also, if you have more oil, you can fry more than a handful of tots, then wait for oil to come back up to temp.
