It's better to install the matte screen protector for pencil use if you are serious about drawing/note taking. That thing is just so slippery on the glass and a matte screen gives a more paper like experience.

Good price for the 10.5 but too bad the 9.7 is the normal price. You can find same price with two packs of screen protector.

Have been using these on a number of work iPads, really happy with them. Coming from Otterboxes. These are a little slimmer, but seem to protect well on drops (accidentally tested a couple of times). Had it on the previous iPad Pro 9.7 and the current Pro 10.5, as well as a couple 2017 'new' iPads or whatever the Air replacement is called.

Yes, the screen protector doesn't have anti-reflective coating itself, so you will see more glare and reflection than a naked ipad. I think there are some protectors out there that have anti-glare but they are in the $20+ range.
