$149.99 - $20 from coupon EMAIL20 = $129.99 + tax w/store pickup. Shipping is avalible too, but it's around $10.

Comes with a battery and slow clip on style charger.

Next closest I found was $159.99 from ebay. Not a killer deal, but a good price on a cordless impact from a name brand if you're in the market for one.

Also be aware that true value appears to have the wrong specs in their description.

You should edit the title and add impact wrench. Big difference from impact driver, which most will assume this is.

I'm not sure, but I think the specs on this are inaccurate (it is perhaps the DeWalt specifications from the same parent company). Everywhere else lists much lower torque output from this machine. I wish it was accurate, because I have some PC tools and would add this to the stable, but I think it's their standard light duty impact rather than a powerful one as listed. If someone knows otherwise please speak up, because I'd love 700ft-lbs for this price.

Yeah, that looks to be the case. Too bad, still pretty cheap for an impact for home automotive use though.

You guys think it'll remove 'most' lug nuts?

Hopefully, that's the main reason I bought it. And because my buddy and I are doing a suspension overhaul on his Volvo S60 next week, and it would take forever with a normal wrench.

Dang, I need a buddy like you. :-)

I do brakes on all (3) of my vehicles as well as my in-laws cars, etc. It's just nice to have someone help out every now & then. Smilie

Let us know how the PC wrench performs. Sounds like it's 'gonna be fun'. Frown

It should remove any standard automotive lug nuts that aren't rusted on. I have used my 1/4" impact driver to remove lug nuts on my expedition and it only outputs 125 ft-lbs. With 300+ ft-lbs lug nuts shouldn't be a problem. It's more the salt ridden suspension bolts that need *big* toque.

Deal already dead for me... A certain cashback site also has 4% with TrueValue. I was definitely considering this if it was available for me, but the website reads: "We're sorry, this item is no longer available for purchase online".

Bummer.

Even if they way overrated this impact (which you know that's the case) I bet it would still bust every nut you needed. unless you're working on a semi truck.. I have a Milwaukee fuel and it is almost too much torque for the bolts on my f250.

Just bought this a few weeks ago. I'm a small shop mechanic and use air power for everything. This won't beat a large pneumatic gun but the portability is awesome. It will remove virtually any bolt on a vehicle and will be invaluable for roadside repair work/wrecking yards. I bought it through Lowe's for 160 with 25off 100 online coupon ; so $135+tax.

Last year, a plumber came to my apt and installed a new sink. He had a Makita drill (or driver?). He was able to change the bits in less than a second. Does this do that?
